Fear not of being perfect

Fear of being perfect - this has always been my sickness. I wasn't able to start any gospel task because I always thought it was so difficult and I could never make it perfect. But this actually hindered me in growing in my faith.

Thanks to Father and Mother. They thought me how to overcome it.

1. Pray a lot.

Satan has been doing his best to make you feel afraid. But you have your shield - faith and prayers.

2. Try.

It doesn't matter if you commit a mistake, as long as it's not intentional, you can surely learn from it. Every mistake opens a learning zone.

3. Try again.

If you failed once, will you be afraid of trying once more? Remember, the time now has changed. Mother and Father has always been working for our salvation, thus you are not alone. They have already prepared everything. Therefore, all you have to do is to try and try and try and try again. When they see the eagerness of your heart, they would surely grant your request.

4. Don't think of being perfect. Think like our Heavenly Mother.

Would a Mother easily give up finding her sons and daughters? Would Mother easily give up in taking care and feeding her lambs? Would Mother easily give up on us? No. Why? She's our God the Mother. She only wants what's best for us - Kingdom of Heaven.

Fear not of being perfect for we are still sinners. We must pray, study, and preach hard so that we can become perfect soon and go back to Heaven :)

Are you having Satan-ic thoughts now?

Then turn those into God-ly thoughts.

Since we are just humans, we are easily tempted by Satan in various ways. It could be on how we look at our brothers and sisters, about our feelings toward our leaders, about our lacking in courage and strength, and many more. If we feel some negative thoughts coming up our way, then we must be alert and immediately turn it into something negative.

For a Deacon once said to me, "Just like a roller coaster, our life of faith goes up and down."

Right now, is our mind filled with so many negative thoughts? Are we being eaten up by the worries and troubles of life? Do we easily get hurt by a wrong attitude of a brother or sister?

Then, this is the perfect time to check our faith - maybe we are spiritually sick.

How can we manage to be spiritually well again?

Here on Earth, if we are sick, what do we do? We go to a clinic and/or pharmacy, take some medicines, and take some rest. Since we are sick we can't easily go out and have fun, right?

Then spiritually, we must go to our spiritual doctor: Jesus. To go to him means to pray to him. Tell him everything that's happening to us, so he can give us the best prescription. If we don't speak, how can he help us? If we don't pray harder, who will pray harder for our sickness?

1st: Pray HardER

Next, we have to take some medicines. Spiritually, it means the words of God. We must study the words of God, whether Sermon or Father's books, for us to receive the water of life. Because if we are spiritually sick, we tend to focus on so many unnecessary things not important for our salvation. And to counterattack the spiritually contagious virus, we must be filled with the spiritual medicine - words of God.

2nd: Study HardER

Lastly, we have to take some rest. Rest doesn't mean to sleep for a long time. To rest means to gain once more the strength and the energy that we lost. Therefore, it has time limitation. After we feel that we've gained enough faith and courage, then we can be back on track. We can spiritually exercise again. But this time, it's much better than that because we're back on track with 10 extra wheels. Therefore, we can become greater vessels.

3rd: Preach HardER

I keep on emphasizing the word "harder" because I know most of us eagerly, and earnestly study and pray, but if we experience this kind of dilemma, it's time to make harder efforts.

Everything that is happening is Satan's way of devouring our soul, telling us, "You're weak. Here's my attack!"

Turn the negative attack into a positive one by telling him, "Yes, I'm weak, but I'd love to give you much greater attack! Challenge accepted."

Let's not be afraid of the negative thoughts but turn it into positive thoughts.

Fight against Satan's scheme, and realize the love of Mother :)

Firstly, I want to thank Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother for giving me this precious chance to share my Fragrance of Zion daily.

Here, I'd try to jot down special memories/realizations/pieces of advice/etcetera that are not supposed to be kept hidden. Thus, this blog is especially dedicated for all of my loving brothers and sisters in faith. I hope I could somehow encourage you through this. God bless you po :)
